Use this in your school, classroom or business. Have students or workers come up with positive thoughts to put up each week. Have each student in the class write one and rotate them during the year, or as a school, choose one from each class on a rotating basis.

Senior Primary examples: Don’t be a bully, think of others instead; When you give up, you fail, but when you try again you get another chance to pass; If you believe in yourself, others will believe in you; Stand up to bullying.

Be mindful of what you are saying to yourself. This poster is a reminder that when we say negative things to ourselves or others, there IS a way to change that thought process. The AMBER/Yellow light has just a few of the questions you can ask yourself to correct your thinking e.g. “Can I think of that another way?   ….. Am I going to let that thought control me? …. How can I solve this? … Am I exaggerating?” etc. If we stay in the negative thoughts process, we are holding our happiness, and that of those around us back.
